This product worked well for my 2009 Jeep Wranger. The lenth is far enough out to clear the outer spare tire and the bent shaft raises your cargo up a little higher off the road. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Have used this on three separate occasions for camping. Works great as long as you balance your load, otherwise it may lean slightly to one side. Using on a Jeep Liberty no problems with exhaust heat or clearance.
